The Company is a member of the Mitsui Fudosan Group.

Privacy Policy

Purposes for which provision of personal information is requested and for which personal data held by the Company is used

Cases in which the Company requests provision of your personal information and purposes for which it uses said information are as follows.

  • (1) To reserve accommodations and register users
  • (2) To enable online shopping and sell and ship goods from hotel shops
  • (3) To handle reservations and requests for marine activities, golf and other activities
  • (4) To handle reservations and requests for spa treatments, massages and other relaxation services
  • (5) To register members for point-card programs
  • (6) To field general inquiries regarding accommodations, bridal services, employment, etc.
  • (7) To solicit contestants for gift raffles and competitive events such as photo contests
  • (8) Other cases in which personal information is requested for the purpose of providing services to customers
  • (9) Management of staff hiring and interviews, contacting candidates for confirmation of same, etc.

Personal information provided by customers and customer personal data already held by the Company are used for the following purposes.

  • (1) Management of accommodation reservations and stays; user management
  • (2) Management of product order acceptance, shipping and settlement; transmission of billing documents
  • (3) Telling customers about services, events, etc. by transmission of e-mail magazines, post, e-mail, etc. (including confirmation e-mails related to the above)
  • (4) User analysis and marketing to inform improvement of management planning, such as for hotel operation and management
  • (5) User analysis and marketing to inform product planning regarding facilities operated or planned by the owners of the Hotel, etc.
  • (6) Management of contact logs of customers inquiring about the Hotel
  • (7) Provision of information on products, services, etc. of Mitsui Fudosan Group companies related to customer living, residential environments and leisure

  • (8) Management and contact for confirmation regarding staff hiring, interviews, etc.

Provision of personal information to third parties

  • (1) Within the scope necessary as required by laws and ordinances and to achieve the purposes of use listed in “Purposes for which provision of personal information is requested and for which personal data held by the Company is used,” the Company may provide customers' personal data to other companies of the Mitsui Fudosan Group, their partners or other third parties.
  • (2) Personal data provided may include names, addresses, telephone numbers, and other items necessary for each company's operations. In each case the personal data provided is limited to the minimum necessary items.
  • (3) Personal data may be provided to third parties by means of written communication, post, telephone, fax, e-mail, electronic media or other media. In such cases information shall be transferred with full consideration of safety management. When providing electronic data, such data shall be provided in encrypted form.
  • (4) If the individual to whom the personal data pertains so requests, the Company shall cease provision of the personal data to the third party or third parties. Please submit such requests to the contact point for inquiries regarding personal information.

Correction and deletion of personal information

The Company responds to requests from customers to correct or delete their personal information held by the Company.
If you would like the Company to delete or correct your personal information, please contact us as below. Only once the Company confirms that the request originates with the owner of the information, the Company will correct or delete your personal information as quickly within a reasonable scope. However, if any danger exists of harm to the rights or interests of a third party, including life, limb, and assets, or if such action may significantly obstruct the appropriate conduct of business, the Company may refuse such correction or deletion. Also, in cases where customers can access the website directly using their own IDs and passwords, the Company requests that you manage the personal information yourself in this way.

Note In the following cases, the Company will refuse disclosure. If the Company refuses disclosure, the Company will notify you of this decision and the reason for it. In principle, the fee is payable even in cases of non-disclosure.

The Company lists the responsible division and contact point when it collects personal information from customers and when it sends direct mail to customers by post. The Company may require that requests by submitted using the specified form.
Please be aware that it may take some time for the Company to confirm, correct, etc. customers' information.
Note In some cases, such as prohibition by law, the Company may be unable to respond to requests. If the Company refuses to respond to the request, the Company will notify you of this decision and the reason for it.
4.Safety measures

To prevent the unauthorized disclosure, loss, damage, etc. of the personal information, etc.it handles, the Company strictly complies with related laws, ordinances and guidelines, and takes appropriate measures for the safe management of said personal information (hereinafter "safe-management measures"), as follows.

Preparation of regulations for handling of personal data

The Company prepares internal regulations stipulating the methods of handling personal data, the persons responsible and in charge, their duties, and related matters.

Organizational safe-management measures

The Company designates an “information security officer” in each division and department, responsible for the handling of personal information in that division or department. Each fiscal year, the information security officer submits a personal-information handling report containing evaluations of safe-management measures and recommendations for improvements. In addition employees (including contract and temporary employees) are required to comply with the internal regulations on safe-management measures. A framework is in place to report and notify the information security officer when employees are deemed to have violated the law or the internal regulations, or shown indications of same.

Personnel-based safe-management measures

Employees are provided with education and training regarding the appropriate handling of personal information.

Physical and technological safe-management measures

In zones where the Company handles personal data, employee entrance and exit control is conducted, and devices containing personal information are held in locked storage.
The Company also implements control of access to personal data and IT systems that handle personal data, measures against malware, monitoring of IT systems, and other measures.
For example, the Company prohibits storage of personal data on local disks, requires regular changing of authentication passwords, and gathers and analyzes operation logs.

Understanding the external environment

Customers' personal data held by the Company is kept on file exclusively in Japan.
